SAM | PHARMD, MBA

Sam is originally from Carthage, Tennessee, and has worked in pharmacy and healthcare since 2018. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee before completing his PharmD and MBA at Mercer University College of Pharmacy. Prior to pharmacy, Sam spent several years in ministry work and earned an MDiv while living in Dallas, Texas.

For Sam, the most meaningful part of community pharmacy is the long-term relationships built with patients and families over time. He and his wife, Chelsey, have been married for 11 years and are raising their three children — Quinn, Leo, and Lucy — in Lawrenceburg surrounded by a large extended family. Outside the pharmacy, Sam enjoys reading, space and astronomy, racquet sports, fitness, and spending time with family.

Chelsey was born and raised in Lawrenceburg and brings more than 15 years of healthcare experience to Frisbie Apothecary. Before helping lead Frisbie Apothecary alongside her husband, Sam, she served as a nurse manager within a large healthcare system and developed extensive experience in leadership, compliance, and patient care operations.

Chelsey enjoys helping patients feel seen, cared for, and supported as whole people — not just prescriptions or diagnoses. In addition to overseeing many behind-the-scenes aspects of the pharmacy, she also manages social media, assists as a pharmacy technician when needed, and helps shape the welcoming, relationship-centered experience the pharmacy strives to provide.

Outside of work, Chelsey enjoys gardening, sewing, reading, homeschooling their three children, and staying involved in the Lawrenceburg community.
